It is used to activate or mute a microphone signal via a physical switch. MS111 has a balanced XLR female input and XLR male output. It can pass phantom power on to the microphone and is designed to switch without pops at the output. The switch can be set to latching or momentary operation. It also has a reversible switch function, allowing the switchs up down position to be reversed.
