Here, this year's harvest is celebrated with the release of the very young Beaujolais Nouveau (pronounced: [bol nuvo]). The fruity wine marks the end of the growing season and the arrival of winter. Beaujolais Nouveau only ferments for a few weeks before being released for sale and is meant to be drunk immediately. It is definitely not meant to be aged like other Beaujolais wines.
